Dr. Jimmy Kwok D.C.
Dr. Jimmy Kwok is a firm believer that if our body is given the right nutrition and correct alignment, our body will heal itself. Dr. Kwok is a chiropractor and a nutritional consultant. He graduated in 2006 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Since graduating from college, he has taken advanced classes in the techniques of Diversified, Drop Table, and Activator. He also continues to attend education seminars throughout the year to maintain his advancement in the field of chiropractic.
After graduating from Palmer College in 2006, he became an associate in a chiropractic clinic in Lansing, MI. After two years of practicing there, he gained valued experience in chiropractic skills, exercise, and spinal correction. In June 2009, Dr. Jimmy acquired the DC Healthy Living Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Michelle CMT
Michelle was born in West Michigan, and has lived here all her life. She grew up in Wyoming and continues to live there. After high school, she attended GRCC and received her Associates of Arts and Sciences.
After working in the banking world for six years, she decided she needed to make a change in her life. Her goal was to find a career that she could help people and make people walk away with a positive attitude. That is when she decided to attend Blue Heron Academy of Healing and study to become a Certified Medical Massage Therapist. In six months she completed the required curriculum and received her certificate. The day after she graduated from BHA, she began working at DC Healthy Living Center.
So when you call DC Healthy Living Center, you will probably speak to Michelle, because she is not only a Massage Therapist in the clinic, she is also the Office Manager.
Ashleigh CMT
Ashleigh was born here in Grand Rapids. She is one of eight children, five sisters and two brothers. Being the second oldest sibling, Ashleigh has had a lot of experience in being a care giver.
After graduating from Northview High School, Ashleigh became an In-home Nanny for two and a half years. After leaving that position, she attended Everest. In nine months she had completed the required program and received her certification as a Massage Therapist. She practices many techniques such as: Reflexology, Deep Tissue, Myofascial release, Prenatal Massage, Sports Massage, Reki, polarity and Shiatsu.
Ashleigh’s goal is to help her patients improve their quality of life with the most holistic approach as possible. She wants to see the use of medication/painkillers reduced and/or eliminated from her patient’s everyday lives.
